Event Details

Abstract : implementation Science uses methods and strategies to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based interventions into routine care. There is a growing recognition that effective implementation requires engagement of key stakeholders across all phases of an implementation process (i.e., from initial exploration to intervention sustainment). We developed the Implementations STakeholder Engagement Model (I-STEM), as part of an international, large‐scale implementation study (ImpleMentAll). In this talk, I will discuss how we worked with stakeholders in an Integrated Care System to co-develop the I-STEM into a user-friendly resource (toolkit), which supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of implementation stakeholder engagement activities. I will provide key recommendations for future research on stakeholder engagement and invite the audience to an interactive discussion about the relevance of this work to diverse implementation contexts.
